The ARP Arts Grant awarded to Pat Cross helps her to create Eleanor's 2020 Vision, a series of original artworks showing the perks of living in a town designed to support the well-being of its citizens.
This original drawing titled Musical Mastery by Pat Cross is custom framed and now displays at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery in Tamarack at the juried show, Tall Tales: Celebrating the Art of Story Telling, fromOctober 2 – November 6, 2021.
Jurors selected three oil paintings by Pat Cross into the show. This exhibit, Unconventional, at the Love Hope Center for the Arts, is free and open to the public from August 7 through October 3, 2021.
Now in its 42nd year, the annual Crosscurrents fine art exhibition displays the top talent of artists living in the Ohio Valley region which covers many counties in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Among the chosen artworks, the Juror selected River Rock Garden, an original oil painting by Pat Cross.
Jurors of the exhibit Metamorphosis selected three artworks by Pat Cross, original oils of her garden bloom series, all inspired by her tours in her mother’s backyard garden. The exhibit is held at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery from April 17 - June 13, 2021.
The artwork of Pat Cross receiving the Best of Show and People’s choice awards was titled Art in Motion, a figurative oil painting of a Middle Eastern dancer in traditional, handcrafted attire. “Few traditions reveal the subtle artistry of the human form as poignantly as the Middle Eastern belly dance,” says Pat Cross.
