Newly Completed Oil Painting Commission by Pat Cross, now displayed in the Miami retreat of the collector. In this oil painting titled Heavenly Westward View, a cedar waxwing bird perches high to spectate the sky ablaze with color. As the sun travels towards the horizon, it illuminates the Appalachian valley below. The valley view depicts that of the collector’s future homesite for their upcoming residence in West Virginia.

Vivaldi in the Park oil painting by Pat Cross reaches a new collector. A pair of traveling art collectors stepped into the Gallery to view the exhibit, Face the Music, at Tamarack Marketplace. An oil painting by Pat Cross caught their eye, Vivaldi in the Park, of which the Gallery staff successfully closed the sale.

Into this exhibit of Tamarack's 16th Annual Best of West Virginia, jurors selected two artworks by Pat Cross, both original oil paintings, each telling a visual story of people interacting with the outdoors, including her oil paintings titled, She Leads, and Praiseworthy.
