A Parisian can-can dancer plumps exhausted onto a nearby chair, resting her limbs before the next performance begins. Meanwhile, as she catches her breath, a certain fellow casts a shadow on the stage as he passes by. She eyes him intently without his notice such that her audience wonders about her anonymous focus of attention. This 24" x 18" oil painting on canvas mounts in a custom frame with a linen liner.
One of a series of award-winning oil paintings on the human form by Pat Cross.
