In this 8" x 10" oil painting, the vain summit of Three Finger Jack admires its own image reflected on one of the most obscure of the Cascade Lakes. Lost Lake emerges during the spring thaw and, if the snowfall proved generous the previous winter, the Lake will hold its own through early fall before seeping back into the earth.
One of a series of award-winning oil paintings of the North American landscape by Pat Cross.
