An adventurous child discovers a hole in the sycamore during her climb. As she peers in, she's surprised to be greeted with equal curiosity from the resident squirrel. Meanwhile, the other squirrel shies away wary of the intruder. This drawing, Hello My Friend, tells of the rewarding friendship granted to those more genuinely curious than cautious.
Hello My Friend is one of a series of original artworks by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
