SOLD! This original oil painting Morning Reflections on Sparks Lake by Pat Cross sold to a couple living in Bend, Oregon. The buyer purchased the piece to commemorate the place where he proposed to his sweetheart. In this painting, floral gardens perch on lava jetties that emerge from mirrored waters under the distinctive crown of Broken Top.
The buyer spotted the piece in a promotional published in the Cascades A&E magazine announcing the winning pieces into the national juried show, The Bosque Conservatory.
“Of the 775 works submitted, only 99 were juried into the show,” says Sara Irvin of the Bosque Conservatory who adds, “Pat Cross is the only artist from Oregon accepted.” Other nationally renown artists represented in the show included Tony Eubanks, Bruce Greene, and Xiang Zhang.
One of a series of award-winning oil paintings on the North American landscape by Pat Cross.
