I painted this piece Autumn River Forest as a reminder that the outdoors often provides a welcome refuge when the hustle and bustle of life begins to wear on our nerves. Often, we don't have to go far away to indulge a few moments or hours of peace. I live within walking distance to trails that wind for miles into the woods and along creeks.
