Jurors Select Pat Cross Art into AAWV 73rd Juried Show
The Exhibit Opens with a Reception on Sunday from 2 - 4 pm at the Parkersburg Art Center.
The exhibition launches on Sunday, September 15 from 2-4 pm with a festive reception followed by an awards ceremony and bustling social hour of arts enthusiasts. The exhibit runs from September 15th through November 9, 2024 and is open to the public for both viewing and for purchase of the artworks.
Into this exhibit, the jurors selected a large, custom framed original oil painting titled On the Move by Pat Cross into this show.
"In this piece, I convey an aspect of wild horses that I admire," says Pat Cross. She explains, "These strong and graceful creatures may venture out and explore alone at times, but also sense when it's wise to collect into a cohesive group, such as when the seasons change and their safety as individuals is at stake." This is one of a series of award-winning oil paintings by Pat Cross.
Both the AAWV exhibit and the Opening Reception are open to public.
