Pat Cross Art Now Showing in Folk Magic Juried Exhibit.
Opening Reception tonight from 6-8 pm at the Love Hope Center for the Arts.
Known nationally as one of the best small towns in the United States, Fayetteville, WV launches a celebration involving the cafes, boutiques, bookstores, gear shops and galleries. Tonight between 6-8 pm, the Love Hope Center for the Arts holds an Opening Reception for its current fine art exhibit, Folk Magic.
Regional artists submitted their entries with the hopes of jurying into this show, Folk Magic, a collection of all things wonderfully curious, mystically moving, and delightfully inspiring made by the folks living in the region.
Into this exhibit, jurors selected three original pen and ink figurative pieces by Pat Cross, Enchanted, Approaching, and Testing the Waters. These pen and ink drawings each show a female figure in a gesture of leaning into a new and unknown, but curiously enticing event. “I often marvel at the expressiveness of the human form,” says Pat Cross, adding, “So much is conveyed by our body language in ways that reach beyond words.”
To view or purchase the artworks by Pat Cross, visit the Love Hope Center for the Arts, 100 Rotan Street, Fayetteville, WV, 25840.
