Pat Cross Art at PACE Speakeasy Auction

During the Speakeasy Event Friday, March 6, 202

Each year, the PACE Foundation holds its Annual Fundraiser Auction and Speakeasy, with the Fireside Grille hosting this year’s event. At the PACE soiree, Pat Cross displays her original oil painting Incoming Tide for bidding.

“I selected this piece, Incoming Tide, due to the intimate connection that West Virginians seek with the coast,” says Pat Cross.” There is something about that salty air, rhythm the waves, and endless sky that refreshes us in a way differently than does our own mountainous and forested landscape. Some viewers of the painting also notice an optimism they find appealing, including the title, Incoming Tide, suggesting that good things are on their way back towards us. “Hope plays a key role in our health and well being,” says Pat Cross, “providing a stark contrast to the waves of distressing news that pounds relentlessly at our attention through the media.” Pat Cross aims to push back against that for my benefit and for my viewers.

Bring your best bid on the painting, Incoming Tide, and enjoy that reminder of refreshing hope in your own home or business to enjoy all seasons of the year. Your winning bid will also help to support the Putnam Area Community Enrichment (PACE) which raises the quality of life for our residents and community. Get your tickets for the event at the PACE Foundation website today.
