Jurors Select Pat Cross Art into West Virginia Inspired Exhibit

The West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History (WVDACH) announces the accepted entries into the Juried Exhibition titled Inspired, featuring historic landmarks and architecture in the state of West Virginia.

Jurors selected from the original artworks based on merit of relevancy, creativity and fine craftsmanship.

The show opens with a Reception and Awards Ceremony at 2 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 and an exhibit continuing through November, 2024.

The exhibit offers tangible initiative through monetary awards to attract premium quality artworks from West Virginia’s most dedicated living artists striving towards excellence in both craftsmanship and creative expression.

The artworks by Pat Cross juried into the show are original oil paintings that feature the grand Greenbrier Hotel. For example, one titled Greenbrier Hotel Then and Now shows the ties of past, present and future of this historic landmark that continues to bring value well into the future with its world class accommodations and conferences for science, industry and technology.
