Jurors Select Pat Cross Art into National Fine Art Exhibit

Jurors Select Pat Cross Art into National Fine Art Exhibit

In the Park Gables Gallery, VMRC, Harrisonburg, VA

The three jurors reviewed a record-breaking 500 artwork entries from 180 artists living throughout the United States, including Washington DC. The VMRC Art Exhibition Director David Shombert writes to Pat Cross, “Congratulations! After a thorough and careful review of all submissions, the three jurors decided that your work should be included. You are one of the elite eighty-one (81) artists chosen; your work won the favor of a panel of three experienced, knowledgeable juror artists. Savor the moment and celebrate this accomplishment!”

Celebrating 20 years of exhibition excellence, the VMRC show attracts artists working in the visual disciplines of drawing, painting, and sculpture in a wide variety of mediums including graphite, oil paint, watercolor, glass, clay, textiles, bronze, wood and more. With over 7,000 square feet of display area, visitors comment on the ambiance of the Park Gables Gallery where each artwork is generously spaced and illuminated with arched windows and strategic lighting. Historically, up to 30% of the displayed artworks reach both repeat and new collectors.

The exhibition runs through Saturday, June 29, 2024 and is open to the viewing public.
