Jurors select Pat Cross Art into Motif Fine Art Exhibit
The jurors selected Pat Cross Art into Motif, a fine art exhibit focused on patterns and displayed at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery at Tamarack.
The artwork of Pat Cross selected into the show is an original graphite drawing titled Moving On a panoramic drawing showing a herd of wild mares and steeds. When scarcity of food or water threatens, often due to seasonal changes, wild horses collect into a group and move on. "I admire the adaptability of animals that leverage the energy of distress into productive action for the well-being of each member and the group," says Pat Cross, adding, "Instead of isolating, they each form supportive coalitions, letting the pride of independence drop in favor of more healthy relationships."
