Jurors Select Artwork by Pat Cross into the 14th Annual Best of West Virginia Competition Exhibit.

Now at the David L. Dickirson Fine Art Gallery in Tamarack Marketplace from June 25 – August 17, 2022.

Exhibit jurors selected two artworks by Pat Cross into the show, both original oil paintings from her latest series, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision.

“I chose to enter two oil paintings that portray toddlers at play with leaves and rocks in a nearby creek,” says Pat Cross. “To me, this symbolizes the liberation offered when personal safety is secured with ready access to explore the outdoors.” As a Child and Creekside Curiosity each are custom framed, wired and ready to hang anywhere you want a reminder to let down your burdens for a few hours and head outside to play, explore, wonder.

These two paintings, As a Child and Creekside Curiosity, are each part of a series by Pat Cross called Eleanor’s 2020 Vision. This series is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
