This oil painting titled Winter on the Greenbrier now displays in the home of a new collector. In this painting, winter clads the Greenbrier Hotel in a glistening white and silver cloak while purple shadows cast curious shapes in the snow.

“Just when I think I have art buyers figured out, they surprise me,” admits Pat Cross, explaining, “Such at this one who purchased a winter scene on a sunny Spring day.” Fortunately, Pat Cross focusses on creating art she finds inspiring instead of trying to figure out what sells. “Often, what I paint with keen interest does indeed resonate with someone, provided I display the piece where people will see it.”

The founder and operator of Enchanted Studio Greenbrier, Rebecca Camden, strategically opened her business where visitors come to relax and engage with uplifting events and environments, such as the Greenbrier Resort. She operates a gallery in the Art Colony Shops and  a creative maker’s space in The Doll House.
