30 Daze of Christmas Exhibit at Etc Gallery features Pat Cross Art

The historic town of Wheeling poises as a serene gateway from the bustling cities of the Northeastern states into the inviting Appalachians. Nestled in this river town perches the Spanish-style El Villas, constructed in 1923 and proudly on the National Registry of Historic Buildings. Here, Etc Gallery greets visitors with warmth and an eclectic array of fine artworks, antiques and jewelry. With over 20 years of experience, gallery proprietor and design concierge Charlotte Karges continues to connect fine artists with collectors from coast to coast.

Recently, Etc Gallery announced a new exhibit, 30 Daze of Christmas, a collection of pieces carefully selected by Charlotte Karges to delight buyers seeking one-of-a-kind items to garnish their homes and offices, or as a holiday gift to thrill the heart of a friend, family member, or associate. The oil paintings of Pat Cross she selected feature natural waterways and tell the visual story of some of the most intimate river bends of this wildly beautiful mountain state. “Now more than ever, people gravitate towards the inviting outdoors in secluded areas for respite,” says Pat Cross. “Often, when travelers feel satiated with such a soothing escape, they wish to bring home a reminder, a way to remember their experience and to incorporate that into their daily lives,” explains Pat Cross. Art does that, if done by a hand and eye sensitive to natural nuances, of which Pat Cross integrates into her paintings of florals, landscapes and waterways.

To view the artworks of Pat Cross and other artists now on display, visit Etc Gallery at 1155 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26033 or reach out to Charlotte Karges, charlotte@etcwheeling.com. Etc Gallery opens to the public 11 am – 5 pm each Thursday and Friday, then from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays.
