Now Showing! In the 23rd West Virginia Juried Biennial Exhibition at The Culture Center in the Capitol Complex.

In this oil painting, an autumn storm subsides, inviting the deer to graze the meadow. A mature buck stands alert, noticing the quiet spectator. He and his mate remain poised, ready to flash their white tails in a dash towards safety. Meanwhile, the other deer continue to graze the freshly washed field grass.

In this custom framed oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions. Mounted in a solid wood floater frame with a mocha finish artwork is wired and ready to hang in your home or office.

Amazing Graze is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.

This program, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision, is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Arts, Culture and History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
