Now Available! Original Pen and Ink Drawing, Picnic Under the Sycamore, by Pat Cross

A family escapes the confines of the house to indulge some fresh air at the town park. They spread a blanket under the dappled shade of the ancient sycamore tree offering a welcome respite for an afternoon picnic.

This 16” x 12” original is hand drawn with archival quality, permanent India ink on acid-free Bristol board for lasting impressions. The drawing is set in an acid-free, white matt with a black liner that sets off the crisp clarity of the ink drawing. The matted artwork is mounted into a 20” x 16” frame and is wired, ready to hang in your home, office, or anywhere you want a refreshing view of life's simple pleasures available nearby.

Picnic Under the Sycamore is one of a series of original artworks by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day, bringing healing even through a global pandemic.

This program, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision, is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Arts, Culture and History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
