Pat Cross In International Show,
Realism in New York

New York
—One of the most competitive annual shows of its kind, Realism features representational art of the landscape, human form and still life. The show was juried by E. Lynne Moss, Senior Editor of American Artist, one of the most prolific art journals of our nation’s living artists. “Of the 1,000-plus works submitted from artists around the globe, only 28 were juried into the show,” tells Marietta Warner-Siegel, Ph.D. and Director of Exhibitions. Attracting over 2,500 viewers per exhibition, the show is hosted by The Stage Gallery, located in one of New York’s most art-conscience venues a few miles outside Manhattan, NY.

The work of Pat Cross that has been juried into Realism is “Owyhee River Canyon,” a dramatic landscape of one of Oregon’s most remote river canyons. Accepted into Oil Painters of America in 2002, Pat Cross is known for her realistically expressive oil paintings of the human form and landscape. Pat Cross lives in her recently purchased art studio in Sunriver, Oregon where, she says,  “The geographic beauty supports my art--it is a faithful reminder of what light, color and form can do to inspire dreams.”

The painting, “Owhyee River Canyon” will be exhibiting in Realism through the month of March and may be viewed at the Stage Gallery, 2222 Hewlett Avenue, Merrick, NY. n
